In
October of 1999, I had the exciting opportunity to visit Germany. Not only was this my first time in
Germany it was my first trip overseas and the first time I'd been in a country where I
don't speak the language. I had a great deal of fun learning how to get around (
einbahnstraße means "one-way street" ) and exploring what little of the country
I was able to see in just 5 days (mostly the village of Landshüt where John was working).
Since I have so many friends and family scattered about I thought it would be nice to
share my travel photos on the web so everyone could see them. The following pages
contain a little travelogue of my trip documented as well as my limited photography skill
will allow. Big thanks to Grandma for giving me the disposable camera that I took these
pictures with. Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have taken a camera at all.
At the end of the pictures is the story of how I ended up going on this trip at all,
which you can read, or not, as you see fit.
